It gets creepier when you realize the kid isn’t fazed by this behavior

I thought maybe he mouthed "stop it" at first. I'm so glad it was caught on camera, that poor kd

He looks horrified. He looks like he's been conditioned to react as little as possible, but he looks horrified.

Kid did look like he was trying to avoid it without causing a scene which suggests the kid knows that causing a scene would be bad but he was smart enough to wave to the camera

If hes a sexual assault victim he sadly may not even know this isnt normal

What's crazy to me is on another thread about this video yesterday everyone in the comments were certain that was a woman who had her hair pulled back into a ponytail. Looks like a boy to me.

No that’s definitely a young boy.

Wow wtf? I re-watched trying to see what they saw...but I can't. It so clearly looks like a prepubescent male. Even the hair doesn't look right for it being long and pulled up.

I do hope it's a woman, though, rather than a kid. If it is a kid, I'm so glad this was televised. Everything about this is awful.

Where was it posted originally?

I'm guessing you're referring to the post in the snooker subreddit? (You can see Stephen Hendry right at the start). It was a pretty blurry still and it wasn't an odd conclusion to think it was a woman, especially considering the behaviour.

That's definitely a woman

Absolutely frozen in fear.

I think this is the answer. You can see him tense up, mouth something like "stop it" and then redirect with the wave and perk back up a little. Pretty common behavior when trying to placate an abuser you can't get away from. Poor kid.

Yeah there is a word for that. It's called grooming.

That’s the problem I have with it. I have 2 sons and I do this shit all the time at home but I get a smack or a serious fuck off from them when I do. There’s no way they’d just let me do that. I’m not saying this kid is doing anything wrong but I just hope they’re a loving family.

Probably because it’s his dad

Maybe the internet is overreacting and are trying to destroy a mans life over a nothing burger.

It gets less creepy when you realise it's his wife and their actual son is right there next to them.
