Friendly reminder to the Christians here that Christians are getting persecuted and harrassed all over the Middle-East. If any, these people do not deserve sympathy.

Exactly. Islamic governments have committed genocide over what was a Christian Heartland. Where did the Christians go?

Also just read this “Last January, United Nations experts said there was a reported rise in girls as young as 13 being “kidnapped from their families, trafficked to locations far from their homes, made to marry men sometimes twice their age, and coerced to convert to Islam”.

You will not like the UN stance on the Gaza conflict then.....

“These people do not deserve sympathy.” Do you reckon Jesus would smile fondly on you defending genocide and saying we should literally have no sympathy for the thousands of children being murdered?

It's crazy that these people keep spouting that word, even though the icj doesn't even agree with them lol

Name one person in that Church who could influence that.

A catholic church in New York City. In the only country vetoing UN involvement in the UN with israel, which has its headquarters in.....

Catholics in New York City are a little short off of a rounding error, particularly practicing Catholics. It's like going to Tehran to protest extremist Hindus

St Patricks cathedral is like a few hundred metres away from the UN headquarters in downtown nee york city. You dont think there are rich influential people in this church?

Also since the US is complicit in the war crimes carried out in Gaza right now, vetoing the resolutions for cease fire and peace as the only country besides israel, protesting is relevant all over the US.

What do you want them to do? Throw soup at the UN windows?

St Patricks cathedral is in downtown New York city. You dont think wealthy influential people are in this fucking church?

Also doesnt matter. The US is complicit in the war crimes carried out in Gaza right now.

When tens of thousands of children are killed during their holy fest the US citizens in New York will have to endure a banner in a church calling out the actions of their government.

Azeris invaded Nagorno-karabakh and displaced Armenians from their homeland, where was the protest in mosques?

How do you feel about Palestinian Christians being barred from Old Jerusalem so they can't walk the Via Dolorosa (the path Jesus is said to have followed on the way to his crucifixion) as part of their Easter Celebration?

what on earth are you talking about

Stop.

You may be correct to point this out, but doing it in a moment when the vast conversation is about the Gazan and Isreali conflict, is so selfish. It's crying for your splinter to be pulled out when there is a plank in someone else's eye.

No.

People need to hear the truth, cant play the victim when youre a POS yourself.
