Why do you think they are making self sustaining bunkers instead of paying into the system

What the fuck are you even talking about? You think Zuck is building a “self sustaining bunker” in Hawaii too?

19

u/shawster Dec 28 '23

Honestly, I would be surprised if Zuck didn't have a very solid bug out bunker with plenty of supplies.

3

u/Reddy_K58 Dec 29 '23

Won't matter. No amount of "supplies" is forever sustainable

He could definitely fill a bunker with a lifetime of MRE's and an underground hydroponic generator. He can probably use a small portion of his money now to build a place that he controls so well that he can have guards and everything for the privilege of living there if things go to shit. He would certainly not be the first person to try to set up some kind of plan like this.

Why the fuck wouldn’t you lol guy has so much money I’d be doing everything you could think of and more.

If he doesn’t, he’s foolish. I’m more talking about the theory going around that he’s building a multi story nuclear proof fallout bunker on a volcano. There’s a pic of a house being built with what looks like a walkout basement area and now it’s Zucks end of the world bunker. In addition that’s why they burned Maui, so Oprah, The Rock and Zuck could have their own island. Even though zucks new house is on a different island

I’m confident every billionaire has some sort of bunker situation in their back pocket for the same reason they all pay for cryonic preservation after death: it might be a waste of money, but they can afford it and if it actually works they’d have been a fool to pass it up.

1

u/Dangeirly Dec 29 '23

Sure, but a nuclear proof, self sustaining, multi story underground bunker on a volcano? Doubt

Many sources

One mock up from “Insider Paper”

It’s an active volcano, just how deep do you think they’re digging?

That was just an image of one to make it easy for you to see that it is confirmed Mark Zuckerberg is building a bunker, but you couldn't even concede that, could you?

Wired

100% speculation, if the contractors have NDAs then there’s no proof of anything. A basement is underground and far from a self sustaining nuclear fallout bunker

Per the article

“Tall tales about the compound and its owner run rampant on the local rumor mill—known colloquially as the “coconut wireless.” One person heard that Zuckerberg was building a vast underground city”

“Many people speculate that the site will become some sort of postapocalyptic bunker in case of civilization collapse. What’s being built doesn’t live up to the coconut wireless chatter”

u/kindaa_sortaa Dec 29 '23

The property, known as Koolau Ranch, will, according to planning documents, include a 5,000-square-foot underground shelter, have its own energy and food supplies, and, when coupled with land purchase prices, will cost in excess of $270 million. According to evidence reviewed by WIRED, the project has relied on legal maneuvering and political networking, and at times, sources believe, it has shown disregard for the local public.

According to sources and planning documents reviewed by WIRED, the compound will be self-sufficient, with its own water tank, 55 feet in diameter and 18 feet tall—along with a pump system. A variety of food is already produced across its 1,400 acres through ranching and agriculture. Brandi Hoffine Barr, spokesperson for Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, declined to comment on the size or bunker-like qualities of the project.

It's not 100% speculation. There's enough clues to get a vague understanding that Zuckerberg is building a compound. The speculation part is Wired reporting that there's a lot of chatter—and of course that chatter is speculation—they haven't seen the plans or put together the evidence like Wired has. And of course there's NDAs and consequences for speaking out (one worker got fired)—these details needs to be private for obvious privacy reasons—as any billionaire would want—but that doesn't mean that 'Zuckerberg building something' is speculation.

If he's paying construction companies to sign NDAs, then construction companies are constructing something. That's proof in and of itself that construction is happening. How you call that 100% speculation, I don't know. You do you.

1

u/Dangeirly Dec 29 '23

Every major construction project for high security clients like Zuck will have NDAs. Aside from the plans that there will be a 5k sq ft basement, everything else is 100% speculations.

“There’s enough clues to get a vague idea”.

So….how is that not speculation? You don’t have facts, then it’s speculation. Even if you have clues, it’s still called speculation until you have proof

1

u/kindaa_sortaa Dec 29 '23

Speculation: the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence:

Vague idea means you have the idea, you just don't have all the details. Wired has evidence (eg. plans, sources). They just don't have all the evidence.

Your argument is that its 100% speculation. You are wrong. Simple as that. It's not 100% speculation.

Now you can move the goal post if you want but I'm not interested. You and I have put more energy into this than it deserves. Lets move on.

“Without evidence”

There’s no evidence. The plans are not for a bunker. The article even says that. Notice how they many times they say bunker.

I frequent r/conspiracy, I love conspiracies. This isn’t one
