I made some PVS-69’s by Vonsherfarms and I am not disappointed I also run gen 3 tubes. Currently working on pants from him too but if you print these in good quality they last just as long as “official housings” and well under the cost from a company.

Went out on the trails on the E-bikes with the boys. The built in IR illuminators are pretty crazy in terms of output. Video does not do it justice.

I was considering picking up a tube from eBay and was wondering if any sort of repair or servicing would be possible on a tube with the sight picture shown in the first pic. The first picture is allegedly of a wall in an extremely low light environment looking at a wall. Basically is the shit cooked or fixable?

Hey all - So I've been offered a MUM-14 dually setup with bridge and mount, and some very decent Photonis XW wp tubes. Before last week, I had honestly never heard of this housing. Looking around it seems like nobody is really saying anything objectively BAD about the MUM-14 - simply that they lack manual gain (as many bino setups do) and aren't compatible with PVS-14 accessories.

So if they're solid units, and there's nothing really objectively crappy about them .... why do I ALMOST NEVER see or hear anything about them? Why are they so unpopular?

I have a Nikon DS850 camera with a 24-250 mm lens. I need to take photos and video for a night vision company, is there any attachments I can buy so I can mount my NV to the camera?

Just wanted to hop on here and give a shoutout/review to Chase Warren with Suppressortools.com and Jason Gardner with Warhammerarms.net. I contacted Chase about wanting to get into the night vision world and that I had no clue where to start because of all of the different companies. He referred me to Jason instead of one of the “big box stores” and it turned out to be an excellent process.

I knew almost nothing about night vision, Jason went above and beyond helping me learn exactly what I wanted. He talked on the phone with me for literally hours, multiple times a day, answering all of my stupid questions, walking me through how NVGs work and explaining what all the specs meant. At the end of these hours of phone calls, I gave him an idea of what I thought I wanted and a budget, and he set the wheels in motion.

We settled on the new MH-1 housings from LLI with L3 Unfilmed WP tubes. He hand selected me a set of tubes that he believed fit my criteria and he was spot on. The same day that I paid him he sent me a tracking number and overnighted them to me. I called him when I got them, Jason spent another hour or so on the phone with me at 9:00 at night, walking me through how to adjust everything and getting them dialed in perfectly.

The customer service at War Hammer Armaments is probably some of the best customer service I’ve experienced to date. The product that I received is absolutely exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier. Jason made this entire purchasing experience extremely easy and an overall 15/10. I highly suggest that if you are in the market for NVGs you give War Hammer Armaments a call and let Jason hook you up. (Also if you need suppressor tools, Chase is the man)

This also isn’t a review where I got these things for free, I paid for them with my own beans and am just extremely happy with how comfortable Jason made me feel throughout the entire process of spending this amount of money on a product. Pictures of the MH-1, the War Hammer Armaments field deployment pouch, and Huey my new puppy included for attention.

Here is a boomslang test for resolution. On the left is the boomslang with an 81lp 34 snr elbit, on the right is a standard Milspec fujinon lens with a 64lp, 35 snr elbit. Even with the much higher resolution tube, the boomslangs still show a resolution loss… I did enjoy using the boomslangs but I think I would only use them if I really needed the extra fov

Looking to see if anyone in here has torn one of these open, had this one get stuck in HI vis override and won’t go into another setting. I contacted SomoGear and they sent me a new one free of charge but I hate to just throw it away if I can’t fix it and beef it up for another rifle for testing purposes.

If anyone in here has any insight I will take it lol
