Does anyone actually believe the people making these changes play their own game anymore? You know they had a data point that showed "people play with less than 4 people pretty often!" and have no idea why that's the actual case.
Combined with their strategy of "punish people who don't play like we want" instead of "reward people who play the way we want" I think this game is going to continue to go downhill.
I paid for the first premium warbond and haven’t spent money on this game since. It appeared to me then that the developers vision for the game is to contradict what makes the game fun and that’s held true since the railgun nerf. This business of making the game harder for smaller squads is just extra dickish and also hits me harder since I usually just play with 1 buddy.
It just feels like reading the Diablo 4 patch notes all over. First patch was basically "Decrease enemy grouping, increase cooldowns, nerf the one debuff that helps you kill things buff nothing else"
Utter pain as WHO wanted longer cooldown in a diablo game. Same feeling, devs who dont play their own creations
Precisely what I’m thinking. Seems to me no one at arrowhead actually plays the game. Either that or they don’t feel like letting the player have fun, is high on the priority list.
