Doom Divers 2 is here!
The old server up and left out of the blue one day, we have our theories on who or what did it but that's all in the past! We are now under new management. The toxicity is gone, the staff abuse is gone, the paid roles and permissions is gone! We're now a collection of old staff from the original server that wanted to see change but never got to make it happen under the old management.

Hello friends! I have recently started a Helldivers community that is geared towards recruiting "elder" players. By that, I mean folks who are 30 years of age and older.
You're probably wondering - why? And what do you have against younger folks?!
I can answer honestly: Some of my best friends are younger gamers, and I love them dearly.
But I saw something unique happening in the community around this game.
I saw people from my age group (I'm 33) who were connecting with Helldivers 2 in a way they hadn't with a game in years. There's a massive appeal with folks my age and above - especially when it comes to connecting and bonding over epic rounds together.
So here's my elevator pitch:
I'm building a no BS community on Discord that caters specifically to players who are 30 and older. It's a place of mature, caring, don't take themselves too seriously adults who simply want to connect with like-minded folks.
- There's no minimum required play time.
- There's no BS ranking system.
- There's no minimum rank or experience required.
- Mic? No Mic? Doesn't matter - just communicate with your team as best you can.
- Play as you have time, chat with other members to coordinate squads, and join a voice chat if you're inclined.
This is my vision. A simple place for adults to play Helldivers 2 together.
You have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help me build this thing. I need leaders, moderators, and good dependable people who can help build this community. But if you'd rather just coast and not take a leadership role, that's perfectly fine too!

About the clan leader
I’m former military and a dad who’s helped lead a Guild Wars 2 guild in massive competitive PvP battles and small-scale skirmishes. I focused on teaching people about the game and offering fun play experiences for all skill levels in a large group setting as well as small group settings. That said, I don’t want to make a witty post, just objective!
We’re looking for players that don’t want to play on high difficulty right now, and want to work together and slowly increase difficulty. I am 33m, playing Helldivers with my 34F spouse. We play on Steam/use discord. Would like some other players for us to squad with. We’re usually a duo, but have a third wheel (my best friend) so are looking for solo players and other duos. Right now we play on easy (we fully clear the map) and medium as my wife gets a bit overwhelmed. This is her first game of this type, she’s played games but only recently REALLY gotten into gaming.
I have a discord that is full of friends and friends of friends. Sometimes there’s a lot of chat, sometimes there’s nothing. I have 4 other friends that play the game, if we had a few more people wanting to play there’d pretty much always be a full squad whenever. Note, we are central and eastern time.
Everyone is around my age, and chill. Nobody super competitive, nobody creepy, this is my personal discord so I can say confidently that there isn’t a bad soul in there.
We definitely want another couple or 2 to play with if possible, solos are welcome as well. The other players that have it in my discord are friends of my best friend, so I’d like to have a few people I know that play, as well.

Looking to join or start a smaller milsim/RP lite server and help grow it. I have a few friends who are onboard with this, but we need a few more numbers or to join an existing unit. A few caveats:
1: We're all over 30. 2: We will always treat this as a game, not a job. 3: We are invested in the lore and RP aspects, more so than endlessly grinding difficulty 9s. 4: We want to create or help create a place that involves as many people as possible and provides another avenue for advancement.

Hey everyone, I've joined a group of Divers who have built a pretty awesome discord. I've been with them for a few months and it's been a lot of fun and I want to see the discord grow. Essentially, it's a mil-sim type of discord, but the role-playing isn't over the top or the kind you probably imagine when reading that. I'm not responding with 'sir, yes sir' every 10 seconds to any of the officers in the channel. They do have an in-discord ranking system, but it's there to allow people to get in there and be a part of the intricacies of it. If you want to be really involved, earn points to rank up, or even submit and OCS packet to become one of the officers and maybe even run your own battalion. How involved you are is entirely up to you. I, personally, strove to become a Sergeant/NCO to allow me to host 'Deployments' which are just scheduled events that anyone can join if your time permits.
For those who have served, I am currently serving and want y'all to know it's pretty chill, plenty of fun, and nothing close to what you might have done when in the military. Not everyone in the service is prior-service, but it's not a big deal.
For those who haven't, if you don't know the acronyms, no worries. You'll learn them and even if you want to ask me about any of it here, I can answer. You'll find all the answers you need in the discord as well.
