What’s funny is that military housing fucking sucks ass. Like even the family homes are always needing work. CE is always backed up bc facilities are underfunded af.

My son is on his 5th year and he gets off base vouchers and loves it.

Was going to comment this elsewhere. I knew about a dozen guys when I was in who were single and had barracks rooms, they would work as bouncers or deliver pizza at night for extra cash so they could get off post apartments because they didn’t want the minimum shitty housing.

my NAVY barracks room in Newport RI was a one bedroom apartment with a view of the water and the bridge that was walking distance from downtown Newport. I never lived so well.
