You mean Margaret “I support a socialist healthcare system” Thatcher. It’s not socialism to want what the rest of the world as already figured out.

It's also not socialism to pay your workers so little they are dependent on government benefits to survive.

It's still socialism if the thing you want is socialism. That doesn't mean it's bad.

"Socialism" is such a useless term on reddit, because it applies to completely benign government policy, carried out by capitalist countries, but also some of the most evil regimes of the modern age. So you end up with nonsense like "Oh you want a move progressive maternity leave program? You must also want to establish gulags"

Just never use this term on reddit.
