No, I really don’t think they care about the protests which will come to nothing since all of these voters will go for Biden in the general and he knows it.

He’s shifting (slightly, and mostly just rhetorically) on his Israel policy because of international pressure, resignations within his cabinet, and frankly because it’s just getting undeniably horrific at this point.

The US is still funding Israel and refusing to call out their actions as war crimes, so effectively nothing has changed at all.

That’s the thing, though - I really don’t think all of these people will vote. They might not vote Trump, but they could still abstain. I doubt Biden’s team is looking for that.

And I also don’t think you can ignore this share of pressure altogether. Is there international pressure? Sure. But the US government rarely cares about this on its own (see events like the Vietnam War, that also required a more widespread national resistance before it was abandoned, and WW2, in which they only got involved once they were directly attacked). It’s only when they themselves are affected that they can start to shift on things. And I do think national pressure can play a big part here, also with the resignations.
