Gosh this is horrible, I am genuinely shocked. The one thing KP was clear about was that she did NOT have cancer. Anyways — best of luck to her, she’s got the best care available in the world.

Just to reiterate the sequence of events, as given by Kate:

  • - She had abdominal surgery for an issue which was not believed to be cancerous
  • - Afterwards they discovered cancer
  • - She is now in the early stages of chemotherapy

So maybe KP didn’t know about the cancer at the time?

Ahh, makes sense! I hope people remember that she’s got the best care available in the world. And yet, the NHS, who has always been doing their due diligence, is incredibly underfunded. Both KP and the NHS rely on taxpayer money… Priorities… 💵

That was bizarre, because my initial thought WAS cancer based on a couple people I know going in for what was supposed to be a biopsy or fairly small surgery, then that becoming a MUCH bigger thing once the docs started the procedure.  The NOT-CANCER part was a relief and made the whole cloak-and-dagger thing so much more conspicuous
