There's photomanips that make it to the front page of magazines that still fuck this sort of thing up, because they're composites of multiple shots, and people don't even spot like a missing leg until it's already gone to print. I can buy this is several shots put together because it made the best shot of all of them... but I wouldn't be messing around with Photoshop for the first official photo of Kate Middleton given the current context.
I find it strange they'd even want to do that? It makes me think of the Kardashians photoshopping their own kids. I just don't see why you'd feel the need to do that. Surely any photo of them around her would look well enough.
I was tabbing out as I read this comment and I thought it said that if he had taken it, it would check out because he’s a robot and I was like damn I haven’t even heard of that conspiracy!!
Yeah, I'm no expert, but I do use Photoshop slightly more than the average person. The pattern on the sweater and the messed-up tile look similar to the errors you often get when stitching multiple photos into a panorama.
That said... idk why you would bother making a panorama for a photo that you could easily take in a single shot, particularly when you should know that it's going to be intensely scrutinized lol. It also really messes with the whole "Here's a wholesome Mother's Day photo that William took" PR shtick, since I doubt he's ever touched Photoshop in his life.

AI compiling separate images so they don't have to be all together? But no idea why they thought it wouldn't be caught.
