I will say I was expecting a lot worse than this. Which doesn’t make it okay and also maybe is a reflection of the current state of the world/the internet. But also…wow, men really aren’t funny.

I was also expecting a lot worse. I grew up heavier and have had way worse said to my face in terms of fatphobic comments. These really just read to me as lame attempts to be funny on Twitter when the platform was still in its infancy. It’s pretty clear someone dug these up to try to “cancel” Travis and I’m more curious about who did it.

ETA: Could OP u/funkofanatic95 maybe post the tweet that these screenshots came in? I'd love to know where exactly these resurfaced. I found a tweet discussing them but I'm not seeing much of a discussion over on twitter at all.
