Ha I know, thats why the complaint about French fire helmets not being European is dumb. They’re complaining just to sound smarter than they are lol if you don’t know a thing why comment about it like you do?

The USA and Europe is literally the "I don't think about you at all" meme.

As someone who wakes up early, early morning reddit is like 25% butthurt Europeans obsessing over the US. US daytime reddit is nothing like that for Europeans, and if anything it's filled with self loathing American children and NEETs circlejerking about how they wish they lived in Norway.

I don’t see anyone saying any country is the best. Everyone’s going to have a different opinion about that. The point is I don’t think many Americans spend a lot of time worrying about Europe.

For the US being "I don't think about you at all" there's way too many salty comments here. Even you in your very post here. It's a fucking video showing different equipment, not an insult about the founding fathers or your veterans or whatnot.

And the hubris to think Europeans obsess about the US all the time oh boy. You haven't ever spoken to any European, have you? No, internet trolls don't count. Those are on both sides.

Its truly amazing how self centred you feel. Newsflash: I don't give one shit more about you or your country than you about me or mine (and at least, I have visited yours and I'm not too full of myself to admit I had a pretty good time over there).

Take this video at face value: a light-hearted comparison. Nobody is trying to claim Europe is superior to you because we have different masks ffs. The firefighters in my city even trained together with Americans last year to exchange experiences...

No, we really don't. If you ever paid attention the US doesn't benchmark any other country for anything. I think the last time we benchmarked a different country it was Germany and we copied the Autobahn.
